Metal Thread Union
If you are buying a double Tank Arm for an older Titan oil tank (circa 1995), please check the thread on the fill point (the smaller hole) - if plastic, you will need to buy this Metal Thread Union.
The first Titan oil tanks (circa 1995) with old style lids used a plastic 2" thread. Due to distortion in sunlight, Titan replaced this with a metal threaded union.
The metal cap of the Tank Arm will not screw onto a plastic thread - it will just bite into the plastic thread and not screw on properly. Therefore in order for the Tank Arm to work properly, this plastic threaded union needs to be replaced with a metal one.
This is a second hand metal union, hence priced at the reduced rate of £10 + vat.
